Our Value Proposition:

Since our founding in 1953, the Africa-America Institute (AAI) has been in the business of helping to increase Africa’s human capacity for development through training and education. AAI cost effectively manages both non-degree professional training and advanced-degree scholarship programs. We secure the maximum number of high-quality training and education opportunities at the lowest cost.

In order to provide African institutions and individuals the widest possible range of choices to meet their needs for advanced education and professional training, we work with some 421 partner institutions worldwide—educators, trainers, and content providers in Africa, Australia, Europe and in North and South America.

AAI’s programs have measurable impact in terms of high academic and professional performance of our alumni—the individuals benefiting from AAI administered scholarship and other education programs. The impact is also demonstrated through our alumni’s deep level of commitment to Africa. Roughly 90 percent of AAI alumni live and work in Africa, and contribute to African development in fields that are critical for development.
