Alumni Call to Action: Share Your Expertise!

F_ACE_4_colorDear AAI Alumni,

Happy New Year!

As you know, last year, The Africa-America Institute celebrated its 60th anniversary.  As we lean in to 2014, AAI is committed to providing an engaging platform for international thought leaders to bring fresh perspectives on issues relevant to Africa.

This April, we are producing the Second Annual Talent Summit.  The summit will focus on technology, engineering, construction, agriculture, tourism, hospitality and the face of medicine and healthcare in Africa.  We believe these sectors are among the fastest growing and have tremendous potential  to impact the continent.

The summit is a forum for innovation, as visionary professionals engage in dialogue on issues of mutual concern to the African continent and the United States.  The event has been designed and created to help inform and shape public policy and foster socio-economic development on the continent.

One of AAI’s greatest assets is our alumni.  We know that having your voices included in the Talent Summit would only serve to make it even more valuable to attendees.  It is our hope that by curating a diverse group of speakers to share their experiences and insights, we are able to create greater understanding about the rich opportunities available in Africa.  This event will be heavily promoted via AAI’s social media channels, our media partners and among our network.

If you have expertise in the sectors listed above, please send an email to aai@thewakemanagency.com with the areas of interest and our event planning team will respond to you with additional details.

We look forward to seeing you in 2014.

Sincerely,

Amini Kajunju

President & CEO
