Sylvain Saluseke is the Managing Director of Global Access Health Network. He works across the African continent to evaluate the level of medical care for international corporations such as IBM, ERICSSON, and AIRTEL as well as international insurance companies, including AETNA, METLIFE, and BUPA, to provide strategic reporting and cashless access to their beneficiaries and/or their insured clients.
For the last 11 years, Saluseke has been working as a consultant in the field of Medical Risk Management throughout Africa. In 2007, he established Nexus Medical Limited in Zambia to provide consulting services and training in Occupational Health and Safety to several mining companies including BHP Billiton, First Quantum Minerals, Mopani (Glencore), Chibuluma (Metorex), among others.
In 2008, he initiated and assisted the University of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to create UFOREST (Unite de Formation et de Recherches en Environnement et Sante au Travail) or Centre for Training and Research in Environment and Occupational Health.
He is an emergency medical technician (ILS, eACLS, ATLS) and holds a Bachelor in Commerce with a major in Financial Risk Management from UNISA.
