Help Empower Africa’s Youth in 2014

As the year draws to a close, AAI President & CEO Amini Kajunju issued an end-of-year appeal for financial support and partnerships to launch new programs to assist AAI in making a stronger impact in bringing a new generation of Africans into a knowledge-based global economy.

All contributions of $60 or more will receive a 60th anniversary commemorative art print as a gift. AAI alumnus Dr. Ablade Glover and his protégé Kofi Agorsor created original artwork to commemorate AAI’s 60th anniversary.

As home to the world’s youngest population at 200 million-strong, African youth have much to offer to the continent – and the world. We, at The Africa-America Institute, see the continent’s youthful population as an enormous opportunity to harness their tremendous talent and energy to spur social and economic development in Africa.
