Legacy Fund Scholars Update: ‘So far so good.’

Future Leaders Legacy Fund Scholars Patricia and Yaros at the United States International University in Nairobi, Kenya, shared a heartfelt message on their progress at their university.

The Legacy Fund aims to raise $2.5 million to enable 300 students to receive an excellent university education in Africa.

We greatly appreciate your support to enable us to achieve our goals. So far so good. We are doing well with our academics and endeavors and we promise to give you the best of us. Living in the hostels has made life at school easier since we attend classes early and at all times. We are also able to use important facilities such as the library and the computer laboratory more often especially for doing class work and for carrying out some research.

Apart from academics, we have joined sports and clubs to get us busy, for physical exercise and making good use of our leisure time.

The Africa-America Institute has done much for us and we are greatly humbled.
