Today, December 1, is #Giving Tuesday! AAI joins a nationwide effort to inspire people to give back to help create a better world.
Join us TODAY and through the end of the year in raising $10,000 to invest in the Future Leaders Legacy Fund to ensure that two African students can each receive a full, four-year scholarship to attend the best universities that Africa has to offer. The fundraising campaign will also raise an additional $5,500 to train nurses at William V.S. Tubman University’s Nursing Program in Liberia.
Meet 2015 AAI Scholars!
Yaros Ogoncho and Patricia Lekhale are scholarship recipients of AAI’s inaugural class of the Future Leaders Legacy Fund at the United States International University (USIU) in Nairobi, Kenya.
The AAI scholars are both excelling academically at USIU, and are grateful for their scholarships.
“The Fund is really making a difference!” said AAI President Amini Kajunju, who met the students in mid-November.
