AAI Welcome Anne Kabagambe to Board of Trustees

The Africa-America Institute (AAI) is pleased to announce that Anne Kabagambe, an international development and finance professional with over 30 years of senior leadership roles in international organizations and development banking, has joined AAI’s Board of Trustees.

Ms. Kabagambe has served with the United Nations, the City of New York and Third World Trade Institute. She recently completed a 10-year assignment as Chief of Staff & Director of Cabinet at the African Development Bank in Tunis, Tunisia and Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. She worked with the team that formulated the Bank’s long-term strategy as well as its responses to the 2009 global financial crisis and the 2014 Ebola epidemic.

A national of Uganda, Ms. Kabagambe holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs in New York City, and another Master’s Degree in Public Policy from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She has a Diploma in Strategic Public-Sector Negotiations from the JFK School of Government, Harvard University and another Diploma in Leadership & Management from the Cranfield School of Management, UK.
