Apply Now for the East African Development Bank Scholarship Program for STEM

The application process is now open for the East African Development Bank scholarship program to strengthen workforce skills in the science, engineering and technology sectors in East African countries. AAI is partnering with EADB on the scholarship program.

The scholarship program, EADB Math, Science, Technology and Engineering University Scholarship Program, will enable East African teachers and lecturers to earn a graduate degree in science, technology, engineering, science or math (STEM) at Rutgers University and New Jersey Institute of Technology, world-class universities less than an hour away from New York City.

Scholarships will be available to qualified teachers and lecturers of tertiary institutions and polytechnic schools in East Africa with at least three years full-time teaching experience, and who have an interest in pursuing a graduate degree in the field of math, science, technology and engineering.

Scholarship recipients must be under 40 years of age and a citizen of the EADB member states of Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The fully funded scholarship will provide full tuition, room and living expenses within a stipulated budget.
