Join AAI’s Social Media Effort to Celebrate Black History Month

Black History Month croppedIn celebration of Black History Month in February, The Africa-America Institute (AAI) will feature African and African-Americans figures who have contributed to Africa’s socio-economic and political development both on the continent and in the United States.

The African and African-Americans figures will be highlighted each week on Facebook and Twitter. The social media effort will go live during the week of Feb. 2 and will continue through the end of the month. The campaign will use the hashtag #AAIAfrica #BlackHistoryMonth.

Social media followers are invited to participate in the social media effort by learning about the influential leaders and their impact on African history and development through basic facts and trivia questions that will engage AAI’s online community.

We hope you join AAI’s Black History Month effort! All participants will be entered into a raffle to win a commemorative poster from AAI’s 60th anniversary celebration.
